A friend of mine asked me to help him build a digital scale to measure the angle when moved along an axis. I thought it was a quick Sunday project and wired up the hardware with a built-in magnetometer board Wrote a quick firmware to access the sensor values too. Heck, I’ve been at it almost 3 hours since this morning and still can’t get the yaw angle calculated properly from the LIS3MDL magnetometer sensor to my liking. It’s drifting, not stable and improper. Tried calibrating too. That didn’t help much. I think it’s going to be a long Sunday debugging.
